This is the Palace of Holyroodhouse. From its humble beginnings as a small chapel on the Castle Rock, Holyroodhouse has played host to a tumultuous history of royalty and grandeur, horrific murders, and religious significance. Today it is the official Scottish residence of Britian's Royal Family.
